About SGI...
Software Generation Incorporated (SGI) has been providing computerized race results for over 20 years in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Our goal is to provide fast and accurate reports that enhance the road race experience of all runners.
Our system is based on "shoe-chip" technology and provides very accurate results at an affordable price.
We provide a number of standard and customized reports, such as overall winners, age bracket winners, age bracket winners, awards, winners by sex, and web posting. Special reports can be produced to handle team results and other special group categories.
Our biggest current race is the Des Moines Race for the Cure, held in October each year. For example, the 2008 race had over 23,000 people registered; with more than 8500 5K finishers. You can see examples of our reports by clicking on the left buttons.
Depending on your needs, we can provide computerized results or a computer finish system.
